Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time - Why Is there a Hylian Shield in Kakariko Village

I never asked myself why there was a hylian shield in the kakarivo graveyard, hell i just waltz in the grave and picked it up. But i started musing about this finding a lot, these recent days that i was playing the 3ds version of Ocarina Of Time, is there some mystery or backstory behind it?

Up till now i got two theories first one you can relate it to The Legend Of Zelda Minish cap And Ocarina Of Time.Well If You've played ocarina of time you should probably know theres a hylian shield in kakariko graveyard underneath a tombstone.

1st Theory

First off if you notice the flowers that are in front of the tombstone, they are in the shape of triforces (weird).Curisous fact this is the only tombstone that has this figure in all the cementary.
In minish cap we can find the tomb of king (forgot) in another cementary In the interior you can find jars in the shape of the triforce, you can also see the triforce in the walls its possible that in ocarina of time the minish cap graveyard would not exist so they movedthe tomb of the king to the cementary and its possible that the king before dying was a warrior from the royal family which would explain the shield.

but why would there be a royal family tombstone in the far end of the graveyard so yeah maybe this theory is BS.

2nd Theory

as we already know in this grave that has the triforce we find the hylian shield , what i really believe is this grave must be from another hero, what other hero? none other than LINK!!!  A link that we haven't seen in all the saga. Yeah, can't be more obvious any other thoughts?

  1. Although very cool, you can just buy a Hylian shield just outside the graveyard at the bazaar. So can't it be anyone?
